Interested in volunteering at the Adler but still have questions? Attend an upcoming Volunteer Open House and learn more about the opportunities available at the Adler, how the volunteer program works and how to get started on the process of joining the Adler volunteer team.

Art Institute of Chicago
Families can visit the Art Institute for free with the Kraft Great Kids Passport (maximum of 2 adults and 4 people total) from the Chicago Public Library. Passports are valid for general admission including all special exhibitions.

Chicago Resident Admission
Chicago residents receive a $2 discount on admission in recognition of the significant support given to the museum through local property taxes. A valid photo ID with a resident address is required. Discount only available at museum admission desks.

  • Free Days: Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays (through February) are currently FREE days for zoo general admission. (Note: While admission is free on these days, normal internal attraction fees still apply, including Dolphin Presentations.
