Welcome Back to Grassroots!
Summer is winding down and soon, the crisp fall air will be heading our way! We hope you’ve had a great summer, and hope that the wonder and excite- ment of the seasons will carry though your Homeschool year. We look for- ward to meeting new friends and reconnecting with all at this year’s Gathering Days!
Membership fees for the Grassroots 2011/2012 year will remain $60 per family per year.
All members are required to pay the first $30.00 no later than October 5, 2011.
The remaining $30.00 will be due by the second Gathering Day in January.
If you received Fundraiser credit for your 2012 enrollment from the Spring Raffle, you will receive an enrollment form via email by September 7th showing the credit to your account for this year.
NEW this year, we will be offering a Limited Membership plan. This option is good for those who don’t plan on regularly attending Gathering Days, but would still like to participate from time to time. As Homeschoolers , we know how challenging it can be to budget our time and money on curriculum choices and extra activities. Join us when you can!
For a $44 member- ship fee, Limited Members will receive the following:
- Year-long access to the Grassroots Yahoo Group
- Field trip invitations
- Monthly Newsletter
- Admission to 3 Gathering Days of your choice during the year. (Attendance at additional Gathering Days is $12 per visit.)
Limited membership must be paid in full by the first Gather- ing Day in October. There is not a fundraising option for Limited Members, no inclusion in Graduation or Awards ceremonies.
Fundraising options will be available for the second installment of your membership dues, information will be distributed in September for our first fundraiser and additional fundraiser information will be passed out as it becomes available. This is a great way to offset your membership and help to provide programming for our group! .
In lieu, of the supply fee, returning members have been asked to bring supplies to stock our bin at the gym. Please see the box to the left for the list. New families will still require a supply fee of $5.00 per child for ages 3 and up (up to 4 children max) when registering to cover the cost of gym equipment and miscellaneous supplies, used at Gathering Days.

Membership fee does not include $2 per family facility fee payable to St. Paul’s Church at each Gathering Day. All fees associated with membership to Grassroots Homeschoolers are non-refundable.
To ensure fairness to all families, it is vital that all members implement our Participation Policy which asks that all members be active in the planning and/or execution of activities and events. We hope each family will take this opportunity to share in the operational tasks of this organization. By signing and submitting your enrollment form, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and accept the policies and procedures of Grassroots Homeschoolers.
